Trump Media & Technology Group on Monday said that it will embed prediction-market trading into its Truth Social platform through an exclusive tie-up with Crypto.com’s Derivatives North America (CDNA).

The new prediction market, branded “Truth Predict,” aims to turn social engagement into tradable event contracts and marks a major expansion of the company’s fintech ambitions.

Truth Predict arrives on Truth Social

Under the agreement, Truth Social will route event contracts through CDNA, a CFTC-registered exchange and clearinghouse.

That regulatory link gives the company a federally compliant pathway to offer markets on elections, economic indicators, commodity prices, sports outcomes and other real-world events.

Trump Media is pitching the feature as the first time a publicly traded social platform has embedded prediction markets directly into its user experience.

The product will show real-time pricing so users can react to fast-moving developments.

Social features will sit alongside the markets, allowing users to discuss positions and compare forecasts while trading.

Platform engagement will feed directly into trading activity: users who earn “Truth gems” for interactions can convert them into the CRO digital token and use that currency to buy contracts.

How Truth Predict will work and when

Company sources say Truth Predict will enter a beta phase on Truth Social in the near term, followed by a US launch and a planned global rollout once regulatory and other prerequisites are met.

The trading itself is expected to run on CDNA’s infrastructure, while Crypto.com provides the CRO token that will be used to settle purchases made with converted Truth gems.

Trump Media also flagged prior plans to build a CRO-focused treasury vehicle and to integrate rewards across its Truth+ streaming and Truth.Fi fintech brands.

Trump Media pointed to a balance-sheet backdrop that it says supports the rollout: management disclosed more than $3 billion in financial assets as of the end of the second quarter and noted a recent quarter of positive operating cash flow.

Those figures, the company argues, give it the financial flexibility to invest in new product development and marketing.

Trump Media is presenting Truth Predict as a way to democratize forecasting and monetise community insights.

But whether that promise is realised will depend on regulatory clearances, the success of the CDNA integration, and how effectively the firm converts social activity into sustained market volume.

For users and observers, the near-term items to watch are straightforward: the timing and scope of the beta, any public filings or regulatory correspondence, and how the company handles token conversion and market liquidity.

If the beta attracts sufficient participation, Truth Predict could deepen engagement on Truth Social and create new transaction revenue.

If liquidity and compliance challenges prove difficult, the product may struggle to scale beyond a pilot.
